Factual Reporting: HIGH

According to The Establishment’s About Page they are a “multimedia company run and funded by women that’s predicated on a simple, yet radical notion: the world is a better, more interesting place when everyone has a voice.” In review, The Establishment is left-biased in story selection that favors the left and is anti-right. There is the use of loaded emotional language in headlines and articles such as: “The Damning Moral Consequences Of Twitter’s Refusal To Ban Trump.” The Establishment features writers from many different backgrounds and perspectives, which causes degrees of left-wing bias that range from slight to strong. One constant is that most articles are well sourced to credible media outlets. Therefore, we rate The Establishment Left Biased and High for Factual Reporting. (D. Van Zandt 10/3/2017)
