Factual Reporting: MIXED

Not Liberal is a news and opinion blog with a tagline that states “NEWS AND OPINION WITHOUT THE LIBERAL BIAS.” The site does not have an About Page, therefore ownership information is not known at this time. Not Liberal does, however, give author names and short bios, but some choose not to use their last names. With that said, almost every article favors the right and denigrates the left. Generally, articles have emotional headlines such as: “Chinese President Lauds Trump “Friendship” At Tillerson Meeting.” Not Liberal also presents information with moderate loaded words in stories and not all stories are sourced to credible information as they tend to quote sources, but not provide a link for the reader to verify. Overall, we rate Not Liberal as right biased based on story selection and Mixed for factual reporting due to poor use of sources and questionable author information. (M. Huitsing 10/3/2017)
