RIGHT-CENTER BIAS

These media sources are slightly to moderately conservative in bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor conservative causes. These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Right-Center sources.

Factual Reporting: HIGH

Notes: MyNorthwest.com is the website for three radio stations in the Seattle, Washington area. The radio stations are KIRO-FM, 710 AM ESPN, and 770 KTTH Conservative Talk Radio. The website features news articles and writings from journalists and radio personalities.

In review, local news is covered by a combination of local journalists and curated content from other providers. National news comes from the Associated Press. There minimal use of loaded language in news reporting and all information is sourced properly. Editorially, there is a clear right-wing bias as most of the radio personalities are conservative or libertarian and their writings reflect that.

Overall, we rate MyNorthwest right-center biased based on editorial positions and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing. (D. Van Zandt 4/7/2018)
