Independent Media Center - Left Center Bias

Factual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

LEFT-CENTER BIAS

These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias.  They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes.  These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. Factual Reporting: MIXED

The Independent Media Center (also known as Indymedia or IMC) is a global open publishing network of journalist collectives that report on political and social issues. It is closely associated with the global justice movement, which criticizes neo-liberalism and its associated institutions. Indymedia uses a democratic media process that allows anybody to contribute. Due to publishing being open some stories may not be sourced properly. The primary political affiliation of IMC is anti-corporate. (7/9/2016) Updated (D. Van Zandt 7/22/2017)
