Hillary Daily – Bias and Credibility

Hillary Daily - Right BiasFactual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

RIGHT BIAS

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

Factual Reporting: MIXED

Hillary Daily is a news website that covers news stories under sections “Scandals, 2016 campaign, Polls, Humor, Foreign Policy” Their about page doesn’t mention who is the site owner or editor, but mentions one sentence “We registered this domain in January 2013 in preparation for a potential Hillary 2016 campaign. Now that it’s official, our mission is to thwart her coronation”

Hillary Daily sometimes simply copies and pastes stories from other conservative sources such as Independent Journal Review without sourcing them.

Example: “Trump Jr. Agrees to Private Interview with Senate Judiciary Committee”

Original story by Independent Journal Review

Hillary Daily posts stories from the Left and Right in story selection, but more favor the right. Although the articles posted have links to mostly credible sources, these are the links from the source they copied and pasted the content from. We rate this source Right Biased based on story selection and Mixed for factual reporting due to lack of an about page that explains how they get their content. (D. Van Zandt 8/30/2017)
