Claimant: Donald Trump (R)
Claim: “Since I took office, it has been my great honor to settle eight wars.”
Rating: MISLEADING
Explanation: Trump has played a role in mediating several international disputes, but describing all eight as wars that he settled overstates the record. In at least two cases, there was no active war to end, while the ongoing U.S.-Iran war began during his administration.
