Analysis / Bias
Daily News Reported disclaims they are a satire website on every page with a tagline that reads “Not quite daily. Not quite news.” Further, they also state on its about page that “Daily News Reported uses invented names in all its stories, except in cases when public figures are being satirized. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental.” Typical stories are geared toward an adult audience, such as this Woman Rushed To The Hospital After Getting A Trailer Ball Hitch Stuck In Her Vagina At A Wild Lake Party.
Finally, Daily News Reported has also been fact-checked despite clearly revealing they are a satire website; however, the screenshot shared on social media cut the disclaimer out: Fact Check: Story About Brandon Cummings’ Arrest Is NOT Real — Originated On Satirical Site.
Overall, we rate Daily News Reported as a satire website based on proper disclaimers on every page. (D. Van Zandt 10/29/2022)
