Notes: The Daily Citizen is a daily newspaper published in Dalton, Georgia. It is the flagship newspaper of North Georgia Newspaper Group, a division of Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. The newspaper was founded in 1847 as The North Georgia Citizen. Despite endorsing Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton for President in 2016, The Daily Citizen maintains a right-center editorial bias. While they do present both sides in opinion pieces, the weight is slightly in favor of the right. Like most local newspapers they report factually or from credible national sources. (D.
