anews-24 (American News) displays sensational headlines and most of its stories, when clicked, directs the reader to obnoxious advertising geared toward adult audiences. anews-24 also consistently fails fact checks and promotes right wing conspiracies. Further, anews-24 is listed on Factcheck.org’s fake news list. Essentially, anews-24 (American News) is a fake news website that is established to create clickbait headlines to increase advertising revenue.
