Trump Media Sells Truth Social Feed to Trading Firms

Trump Media & Technology Group has signed up 10 customers for Truth API, a real-time feed of top Truth Social posts. According to The Wall Street Journal, early subscribers include high-frequency trading firms paying between $60,000 and $100,000 per month. Trump Media interim CEO Kevin McGurn said during an earnings call that the feed offers access to posts from President Trump, who frequently shares updates on trade deals, the Iran war, and other market-sensitive topics. Poll Finds Americans Want Stronger Social Media Oversight

A Reuters/Ipsos poll found broad public support for stronger government oversight of social media companies. The survey of 4,505 adults found that 66% support age-verification laws to keep children under 16 off social media platforms, while 85% say social media can be addictive for children. USA Today Co. Unions Oppose Palantir Deal

31 unions representing nearly 800 USA Today Co. workers are calling on the company to end its partnership with Palantir. USA Today Co., formerly Gannett, announced the deal to use Palantir’s AI-powered software to analyze customer data and identify new revenue opportunities through personalized ads, subscription offers, and other products. The unions argue the partnership threatens reader trust and online safety, citing Palantir’s work with government surveillance, immigration enforcement, and military operations.
