Trump Calls for Punishment of ABC News Over Debate Moderation

Former President Donald Trump criticized ABC News for what he described as hostile moderation during his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, suggesting that the network should face consequences. “They ought to take away their license,” Trump said on “Fox and Friends,” despite the fact that the FCC does not license major networks like ABC, but rather local stations.

Trump has frequently attacked ABC and other mainstream media, labeling them “fake news” and the “enemy of the people.” His comments came after a debate that many analysts said did not go well for Trump, who claimed it was “three on one.”

This follows Trump’s ongoing threats against media companies, including a previous warning to Comcast Universal of potential investigations into NBC and MSNBC if he is re-elected. Media watchdogs have raised concerns that such rhetoric could incite violence against journalists.

Trump just can’t stop throwing his toys
Out of his pram.

“His comments came after a debate that many analysts said did not go well for Trump, who claimed it was ‘three on one’.”

Three on one. Right. HOW DARE THESE JOURNALISTS correct… what… three? of poor wittle baby Trump’s most outrageous assertions… that Democrats support “abortion” AFTER BIRTH and that Haitians in Springfield, Ohio are EATING PEOPLE’S CATS AND DOGS (and then adding that this is what our country has come to).

I dearly wish that, before the debate, Trump had seen a story about Democrats conferring with aliens from Galacton about how to steal Republicans’ beef burgers and guns, because his predictable sharing of that story would’ve made for comedy gold.

At the moment, I can’t even think of a third example of a correction that night, much less unfair treatment from David Muir and Linsey Davis. They made both of those corrections with absolute professionalism and brevity, while also allowing nearly-constant, barely-articulate, vague, fearmongering lies or delusions from Trump, which of course is the norm. That’s what he and his most obsequious followers call terrible, horrible, unfair treatment… waaaaaaaaaaa!

Both moderators also let Trump — almost exclusively Trump — INTERRUPT, multiple times, as they were moving onto the next question, so that he could have a little hissy fit, after which they thanked him before proceeding.

Meanwhile, some integrity-bereft scumbag with CLEAR, STRONG, and OBVIOUS bias, like Sean Hannity or Laura Ingraham, who would “correct” and interrupt any Democrat with far more frequency, and be sure to fill his “corrections” with smarmy sarcasm — that would meet Trump’s, and his most sycophantic supporters’, standards for fairness.

Blatant, egregious, astonishing hypocrisy from — and for — a weak, gullible, needy little baby who isn’t man enough to take criticism and, for at least 8 years and counting, has used America and his most credulous followers for desperately-needed emotional therapy.
