PolitiFact rating: False (The Environmental Protection Agency proposed federal tailpipe emission standards for vehicle manufacturers in April 2023. The standards would require a stringent fleetwide reduction in emissions for vehicles produced from 2027 to 2032. To meet the new standards, manufacturers would likely noticeably decrease the production of gasoline-powered vehicles, but they are not banned from production.)

Full Fact rating: Incorrect (The combined impact of two reductions in National Insurance, introduced in January and April, mean that a worker on the average salary of £35,400 will save £900 a year. Those earning below £26,000 will be worse off once other tax changes are taken into account.)
