The Latest Fact Checks curated by Media Bias Fact Check 02/14/2022 (Blatant Lie Edition)

Each day Media Bias Fact Check selects and publishes fact checks from around the world. We only utilize fact-checkers that are either a signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) or have been verified as credible by MBFC. Further, we review each fact check for accuracy before publishing. We fact-check the fact-checkers and let you know their bias. When appropriate we explain the rating and/or offer our own rating if we disagree with the fact-checker. (D. Van Zandt)

Claim by DJHJ Media (David Harris Jr.): Arizona House bill to “decertify” 2020 results “could effectively recall the Biden electors.”

PolitiFact rating: Pants on Fire (Legal experts said it isn’t possible to decertify the election. The U.S. Constitution lays out a process for the electors and certification of the presidential election, and that process was completed more than a year ago.)

GOP lawmaker’s proposal to decertify Arizona election won’t change anything about 2020

DJHJ Media Rating

Claim by COVID Vaccines Are Experimental Gene Therapy.

Lead Stories rating: False (Not Gene Tech and fully authorized)

Fact Check: COVID Vaccines Are NOT Experimental Gene Technology — They ARE Fully Authorized

Daily Sceptic Rating

Claim by Troy Nehls (R): “In Joe Biden’s America, your children are more likely to have access to a crack pipe than a mask-free education.”

PolitiFact rating: Pants on Fire (Federal officials said the funds cannot be used to provide pipes. There is no federal mandate requiring children to wear masks in schools.)

Claim that kids more likely to have access to crack pipes than mask-free education is Pants on Fire!

Claim via Bitchute Video: COVID vaccines cause permanent damage to children’s critical organs.

Lead Stories rating: False (Science-Free)

Fact Check: There Is NO Evidence COVID Vaccines Damage Children’s Brains, Jeopardize Reproduction, Generate Toxins

Bitchute Rating

Claim by The RedPill: The CDC staged “the ‘escaping monkeys’ as a cover story for releasing the next bioweapon.”

PolitiFact rating: False (There’s no evidence to support the claim that the CDC staged a crash involving lab monkeys as cover to release a bioweapon. A woman who was reported ill after encountering the animals was exposed to COVID, and told a local reporter that she wasn’t sick from the crash. )

No evidence to support claim that CDC staged monkey crash

The RedPill Project Rating

(International: New Zealand): The New Zealand government is considering putting COVID-19 vaccines into city water supplies.

Australian Associated Press rating: False (The story is a fabrication and the original Facebook post is a fake.)

Truth sold down the river in post about COVID vaccine in NZ water

  1. Hmmm, someone who uses Politifact as a credible source trying to debunk everyone that goes against the main stream agenda!!! Maybe tell your boss Soros (or is it Bill Gates and Big Pharma), that we actually have brains. I can debunk all your posts.

Hi Kim, we use a wide variety of left and right leaning fact checkers. We actualy vet the fact checks and change ratings if they are wrong. Just because a source leans left or right does not mean they are wrong. Sometimes they are just wrong. You appear to have significant bias issues, if you think this operation is funded or supportive of George Soros. Works on that.
