Claim by Viral image: The federal infrastructure bill includes “a pilot program for a national motor vehicle per-mile user fee, which is basically a long-term plan to make it too expensive to drive a car.”

PolitiFact rating: Mostly False (The infrastructure bill includes a provision for a pilot program to test the use of a fee that would charge motorists based on the number of miles they drive. Enacting such a fee would require separate legislation.)

Per-mile fee would be tested, but no proof plan is aimed at making cars obsolete

FALSE Claim via Social Media: Masks don’t work; prisoners were released instead of being given masks

Health Feedback rating: Inaccurate (Masks are effective – Prisoners were released because conditions in U.S. jails and prisons, where physical distancing is virtually impossible, promote the spread of COVID-19.)

US prison releases complemented other strategies to limit the spread of COVID-19 in jails and prisons, including face masks

FALSE Claim via Social Media: CDC test adds influenza cases to COVID-19 tally

USA Today rating: False

Fact check: CDC test doesn’t conflate COVID-19 virus with influenza

USA Today rating: False

Fact check: Chet Hanks video makes false claim about vaccine safety, UFOs

Claim via Social Media: Military Times shows vaccine recipients had an astronomical amount of heart disease.

Lead Stories rating: False (Fake screenshot – Military Times is a credible low biased source.)

Fact Check: There Is NO Article On Military Times Website Saying COVID-19 Vaccines Cause Heart Disease — Just A Fake Screenshot

(International: India): Modi govt has rescued 800 people from Kabul by IAC C-17 aircraft
