Founded in 2016 by Steve Ballmer (Former Microsoft CEO, LA Clippers Owner), USAFacts, according to their about page is a “data-driven portrait of the American population, our government’s finances, and the government’s impact on society. They are a non-partisan, not-for-profit civic initiative and have no political agenda or commercial motive. We provide vital spending, revenue, demographic, and performance information as a free public service and are committed to maintaining and expanding our available data in the future.”
