Tablet Magazine founded in 2009, is an American Jewish daily online magazine based in New York City, owned by nonprofit, Jewish organization Nextbook. Tablet Magazine covers topics such as “Jewish news, ideas, and culture” They also accept pieces from freelance writers. The current Editor in Chief is Alana Newhouse.

Analysis / Bias

In review, Tablet publishes news and analysis related to Jewish issues in the United States and around the world. Most content is original and utilizes moderate loaded language such as this Elizabeth Warren and the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire. In another story that is favorable to Progressive Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders, they write this: Straight Outta Brooklyn, by Way of Vermont: The Bernie Sanders Story.

Editorially, Tablet favors left-leaning positions such as concern for climate change: The Sabbath in an Era of Climate Change as well as holding negative views of the Trump administration such as this What Donald Trump Will Never Understand About Jews.
