Founded in 1870 as the Mormon Tribune, the Salt Lake Tribune is a daily newspaper published in the city of Salt Lake City, Utah, with the largest paid circulation in the state. The current editor is Jennifer Napier-Pearce.

In review, the Salt Lake Tribune reports local news through reporters with minimal bias such as this Coronavirus tests top 95,000 in Utah, no new deaths reported. National and international news is republished through the Associated Press and the New York Times.

Editorially, the Tribune has endorsed Democratic Presidential candidates in the last 3 elections (2008, 2012, 2016). A review of their opinion page reveals that they republish New York Times commentary, which typically comes from a left-leaning perspective.
