Analysis / Bias

In review, local news is covered via reporters with minimal bias such as this Coronavirus: All Duval County beaches to close; testing to begin at TIAA Bank Field Saturday. National and international news is covered through the USA Today Network as well as the Associated Press.

Editorially, the Florida Times-Union typically endorses Republican candidates. For example, in 2016 they were one of the few major newspapers to endorse Donald Trump for President. A review of their op-ed pages continues to show a right leaning bias, but a reasonable balance of left leaning opinions. In general, news is reported factually with right leaning editorial positions.
