House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment, accusing President Donald Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
The Judiciary Committee is slated to vote on the articles later this week, setting up a full House vote next week.
In a news conference announcing the articles Tuesday morning, Democrats said Trump put his personal political interests over U.S. national security by pressuring Ukraine to investigate his political rivals.
