BREAKING: Warren’s plan to pay for ‘Medicare for All’: $20.5 trillion in new spending, financed largely by taxes on the rich, corporations

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., released a detailed plan Friday that she says would fully fund “Medicare for All” and cover every American without premiums or deductibles, all with “not one penny in middle-class tax increases.”

The 2020 candidate has been under fire from fellow Democrats for refusing, during the last debate, to acknowledge that her health care plan would require raising taxes on the middle class. What her plan does is assume a reversal of President Donald Trump’s tax cuts — a move Warren previously had backed that would raise taxes on some middle income families.
