Elizabeth Warren has overtaken Joe Biden for the top spot in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa, according to a Des Moines Register/CNN poll on Saturday night.
The poll found Warren was the top choice for the Democratic nomination of 22 percent of likely caucus-goers, while Biden was favored by 20 percent. Bernie Sanders fell to third with 11 percent. In June, the Register/CNN poll had Biden leading with 24 percent and Warren in the third spot at 15 percent, slightly behind Sanders, who came in second with 16 percent support.
