Rudy Giuliani tells NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President Donald Trump could end the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign or pardon himself, but is unlikely to do so.
Giuliani, the president’s lawyer, says Trump remains constrained by Congress’ impeachment power. “The president of the United States pardoning himself would just be unthinkable,” he said. “And it would lead to probably an immediate impeachment.”
