Over 50 demonstrators were killed and at least 2,000 more wounded by Israeli forces as thousands of protesters marched on the barrier between the Gaza Strip and Israel Monday, Gaza’s Ministry of Health said.

It comes as the U.S. breaks with decades of policy and opens its relocated embassy in Jerusalem on Monday.
