Analysis / Bias

The Poke identifies itself as satire through its tagline and its About page. In general, the satire on this website is directed at Conservatives and right-wing figures such as this: 10 simply fabulous Donald Trump “they’re eating the pets” remixes because it’s the gift that keeps on giving

While not all content is satirical, the news stories are meant to be humorous, like this This Spanish speed walker’s premature celebration was a salutary lesson for us all (and so painfully funny). Although having real news stories embedded with satire can be confusing, the website clarifies that they are not a serious news source.
