Media Ownership and Government Analysis
The Government does not directly subsidize the media, however in 2003, the Government established The Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) in order to assist major print and broadcasting companies by providing grants. Additionally, all the prominent daily newspapers are owned by the four largest media firms, leading to pro-corporate bias.
