Founded in 1881, the Las Cruces Sun-News, is a daily broadsheet newspaper published in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The current editor is Lucas Peerman.

The Las Cruces Sun-News is currently owned by the Gannett Company, which controls the USA Today Network. However, it was reported on 7/19/2019, that Gatehouse Media is acquiring Gannett. This is not official as of this date, but seems to be inevitable in the future. Revenue is generated from advertising and subscription sales.
