Fact Check Search

🔍 How to Use the MBFC Daily Fact Check Search

1. Search by Person + Topic
Type the name of the person followed by a topic for best results.
Example: Donald Trump tariffs
This prioritizes claims made by the person, not just mentions.

2. Start Broad, Then Add Detail
Begin with a name or topic, then narrow down.
Example: Trump tariffsTrump 145% tariff

3. Use Correct Names
Use full names or well-known forms like:
Joe Biden, RFK Jr., Kamala Harris

4. Claim Sources Ranked First
The search prioritizes fact checks where the person is the source of the claim.
You’ll see: “Claim by RFK Jr.” before just a mention.

5. Use Quotation Marks for Phrases (Optional)
For exact matches, use quotes:
Example: "Trump said tariffs will lower prices"
