History
The Federal Agency for Civic Education (The Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (BPB)) was established in 1952 to provide citizenship education and information on political issues. The BPB’s mission is to promote understanding of political matters, solidify democratic awareness, and boost willingness for political participation. The Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (BPB) runs a voting advice application website, Wahl-O-Mat, which compares the user’s political position with the platforms of the parties and shows all parties ranked for closeness to the user’s position and The Euro|Topics, a news aggregator. It is based in Bonn, Germany.

We analyzed the Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung (BPB), a German federal public authority focusing on educational material related to political and social issues.
Two articles were selected for this analysis: TikTok and Right-Wing Extremism and The Sociodemographic Structure of the Population in Poland. Both articles maintain an objective tone, adhere to BPB’s mission of fostering political understanding and democratic awareness, and provide extensive external citations.
