News Corp Reports Record Fiscal Revenue

News Corp. posted record fiscal 2026 revenue of $9.03 billion, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company also reported fourth-quarter revenue of $2.11 billion, up 11% year over year. Advertising accounted for 15% of fiscal-year revenue, down sharply from 2014 levels when REA Group was classified as advertising, while circulation and subscription revenue contributed 36%. New Mexico Court Orders Meta to Pay $567 Million

A New Mexico court ordered Meta to pay $567 million to address harms to young people from Facebook and Instagram, following an earlier $375 million civil penalty in the same case. Judge Bryan Biedscheid said most of the new money will fund treatment services for young people, with additional funds going toward awareness, prevention, screening, and related costs over five years. The court also ordered Meta to improve disclosures, age-assurance tools, reporting systems, and protections for younger users in New Mexico.
