TRUE Claim via Social Media: Days before the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran on Feb. 28, 2026, U.S. President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump invested in a company that makes autonomous drones driven by artificial intelligence.

Snopes.com rating: True (XTEND, an Israeli company that makes AI-operated autonomous drones, and JFB Construction Holdings, a U.S. construction company, announced on Feb. 17, 2026, that they were merging. An official statement on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s website listed Eric Trump as one of the investors in the merger. Another was Unusual Machines, a drone maker that counts another of Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr., on its advisory board. Once the merger is complete, the joint company, which is expected to be named XTEND AI Robotics, will trade publicly as part of Nasdaq.)

TRUE Claim via Social Media: U.S. President Donald Trump cast a mail-in ballot in March 2026 for Florida’s House District 87 special election.

Snopes rating: True (He said: You know why? Because I’m president of the United States. And because of the fact that I’m president of the United States, I did a mail-in ballot for elections that took place in Florida.)

FALSE (International: United Kingdom): Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer posted a statement on X saying that American forces must withdraw from UK airbases within 48 hours and pay historic rent if the United States ends its commitment to NATO.
