We only utilize fact-checkers who are either a signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) or have been verified as credible by MBFC. This is a helpful reminder to be vigilant about fact-checking! It’s easy to get caught up in what we see online, but critical evaluation is key. When trying to understand different perspectives, I’ve found that understanding how to analyze information is key. Resources like the Academized blog compare and contrast essay here https://academized.com/blog/compare-and-contrast-essay really help with this as they show how to break down complex topics. Applying those essay-writing skills to media consumption has been surprisingly useful for me.
