A story from NPR detailing a reported clash between Trump campaign staffers and Arlington National Cemetery officials was flagged by the social platform X as potentially “unsafe.”
The incident allegedly involved a photographer from Trump’s team attempting to access a restricted area during Trump’s visit to commemorate the anniversary of the Kabul airport attack. The Trump campaign denied NPR’s account, claiming no physical altercation occurred. The Army defended the cemetery official involved, stating the employee was enforcing rules against political activity.
X later stated the blockage was a “false positive” and corrected the issue after NPR changed the story’s URL.
