MOSTLY
FALSE
Claim by Presidential Candidate Francis Suarez (R): “In Biden’s America, 7 million people illegally crossed the border and are given a free cellphone and airline tickets.”

Politifact rating: Mostly False (Immigration and Customs Enforcement issues cellphones to some migrants released from federal custody, but it’s to track their location. These phones are not for personal use, meaning no phone calls or text messages with family and friends. ICE uses flights to remove people from the U.S. or to take them to detention centers. Under the law, a separate U.S. agency flies unaccompanied children around the country to reunite them with family members or so that they are cared for in shelters.)

FALSE Claim by Marjorie Taylor Greene (R): Antifa protestor pictured at Capitol on January 6?

Newsweek rating: False (The photo shared by Marjorie Taylor Greene via Twitter is not evidence that there was an Antifa follower in the crowd on January 6. Other images show the person unobstructed by their helmet, wearing a Louisiana state flag patch that is not associated with Antifa.)

Fact Check: Was Antifa protester pictured at Capitol on January 6?

MOSTLY
TRUE
Claim by Joe Biden (D): “The No. 1 weather-related killer is heat. 600 people die annually from its effects, more than from floods, hurricanes and tornadoes in America combined.”

PolitiFact rating: Mostly True (Biden may have understated the number of heat deaths. Scientists say that 600 heat deaths a year is almost certainly too low.)

Joe Biden said heat kills more Americans than floods, hurricanes and tornadoes combined. Is it true?

FALSE (International: India): Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by a single lady in France.

The Quint rating: False

Fact Check: Was Antifa protester pictured at Capitol on January 6?

This may be true for this specific picture. However, many early videos of 6 January, hours after the incident were conveniently and promptly scrubbed that many of us saw and agree on what we saw. ANTIFA in garb that, in most cases did I not really blend in, WERE THERE goading on the crowd. One group had truncheons and were smashing windows on what looked like an above ground floor portico. One person was heard saying, HEY, they’re ANTIFA!
