History

Founded in 2013 by Beth Newell and Sarah Pappalardo, Reductress is known as “The first and only satirical women’s magazine.” According to their about page, the mission “is to take on the outdated perspectives and condescending tone of popular women’s media, through the eyes of the funniest women in comedy today. Also, we want people to think we’re pretty.”

Analysis / Bias

In review, Reductress is a satire website that publishes satirical articles from a feminist perspective. An example article is as follows  How to Identify Your Attachment Style and Then Weaponize It and this How to Cum So Hard You Trigger Another Cambrian Explosion and Usher in a Wave of Unprecedented Biodiversity. Most importantly, Reductress clearly states they are satire.
