What does pants on fire mean its a lie what was said or a lie for answer and does false mean that there was no article or article was false the answer

False means it is incorrect perhaps through ignorance or other motivations.
Pants on Fire is a blatant lie or fabrication where the person who made the claim intentionally lied. There can be no doubt they were aware that they are lying.
