Funded by / Ownership

The Tribunist does not disclose ownership and funding appears to be derived from advertising.

Analysis / Bias

In review, the Tribunist presents news and opinions with a right leaning conservative bias. Headlines and articles utilize only moderate loaded emotional language such as this: Trump Doubles Down on Iran After Oil Attack “US Locked and Loaded”. This story like most on the website utilize proper sources. In this case they source to ABC News. In another article they utilize video and link to Military.com. In general, story selection favors the right, but not in an overt manner.

A factual search reveals they have failed one fact check in 2016, but none since.

Overall, we rate the Tribunist Right Biased based on story selection that mostly favors the right. We also rate them Mostly Factual in reporting, rather than High, due to a complete lack of transparency and one failed fact check that occurred 3 years ago, while sourcing information properly.  (10/26/2016) Updated (D.
