BREAKING: White House: ‘total and complete exoneration’

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Sunday called the findings of the Department of Justice a “total and complete exoneration of the president of the United States.”

Sanders made her comments after the release of a letter from Attorney General William Barr summarizing the report of special counsel Robert Mueller, who did not find proof of collusion with Russia and reached no decision on whether President Donald Trump had obstructed justice.

Mueller said in his report that his findings were not an exoneration of Trump or a claim that he had committed a crime.
