Analysis / Bias
In review, America’s Voice advocates for immigrants and liberal reform to the immigration system. For example, they advocate for amnesty such as this The Memo: Trump’s immigration hawks grapple with new court blow. When reporting on the Trump Administration there is use of loaded wording such as this: Trump’s Normalizing of Corruption and Lawlessness Continues at the Border. This story is properly sourced to both the left leaning Washington Post and right leaning Wall Street Journal. A thorough overview of dozens of articles indicates that story selection almost always favors the left. In general, America’s Voice is factual and well sourced with a left leaning mission of easier immigration and protection for refugees.
A factual search reveals they have not failed a fact check.
Overall, we rate America’s Voice Left Biased based on advocacy for immigration measures opposed by the right. We also rate them Mostly Factual, rather than High due to the infrequent use of poor sources. (D. Van Zandt 2/20/2020)
