Wikimedia Declines Voluntary Union Recognition

Trump Ordered to Produce Financial Records in BBC Suit

A federal judge ordered President Trump’s trust to turn over financial documents in his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC. The case stems from a 2024 BBC Panorama documentary that edited together portions of Trump’s Jan. 6, 2021, speech, prompting the BBC to issue a correction and apology while denying defamation. U.S. Magistrate Judge Enjoliqué Lett ruled that because Trump claims the documentary caused extensive harm to his brand, properties, businesses, and financial prospects, the BBC is entitled to seek related financial records.
