I just took this week’s Media Literacy Quiz – and got this answer “wrong.” But, this calls for a Basic Math Check, please:
“7. A presidential candidate needs at least 250 electoral votes to win the election.
Your answer: True
Correct answer: False
They need at least 270.”
Last time I looked, 270 is at least 250. The question should have been worded differently. (And this brings back memories of complaining to my high school teachers about their poor word choices in tests — not that it ever did me any good.) LOL.
Hmm. You are right about that. It should have been worded more definitively. We will make sure not to make this mistake again.
