What is the name of the logical fallacy in which someone argues that a claim is true because many people believe it?

    Your answer: Begging the question

    Correct answer: Appeal to authority

I thought the correct answer would be band wagon. Appealing to authority is citing an “expert” or dropping an expert’s name in an argument.
