BREAKING: The economy added 250,000 jobs in October as monthly report shows final snapshot of U.S. labor market before midterms

The economy added a total of 250,000 jobs during the month of October. The monthly jobs report released Friday by the Department of Labor also showed unemployment remaining steady at 3.7 percent. The latest report is the last window into the U.S. economy before the midterm elections next week.
