These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias.  They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes.  These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Left-Center sources.

Factual Reporting: HIGH

Notes: Timeline is a Medium blog that publishes historical stories that relate to today. According to their about page: “Timeline enriches our understanding of the present by telling stories of the past. Drawing on the best evidence, sources, and information available, we use the narratives of history to bring context to the news and issues of today. Through text, images, and video we change the way people think about now.”

In review, Timeline is always well sourced to credible media and historical information. There is very little use of loaded language and all articles are well written. Timeline does have a slight left leaning bias in story selection that tends to favor the left with an emphasis on equality issues. A factual search reveals that Timeline has never failed a fact check. Overall, Timeline is slightly left-center biased and high for factual reporting. (D. Van Zandt 1/15/2018)
