A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for the purpose of profit or influence (Learn More). Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact checked on a per article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the reasoning section for that source. See all Questionable sources.

Reasoning: Extreme Right, Imposter Site, Propaganda, Fake news

Politico Info is a news and opinion website with extreme right-wing bias in reporting. It is not affiliated with the large mainstream Politico website. Politico Info uses sensational headlines that do not match the story. For example, in this story “What Hillary Clinton Did IMMEDIATELY After Comey Was Fired Will Make You SICK” does not actually say what Clinton did. It displays a bunch of tweets from other people and injects biased commentary into the article. Essentially, this is a typical extreme conservative site that shuns factual reporting in favor of propaganda. We also don’t recommend visiting this website unless you want to be bombarded with pop-up ads. (D. Van Zandt 5/10/2017)
