Fact Check: Does footage show the overflow crowd at Trump’s September 2026 Minnesota rally?

Media Bias Fact Check (MBFC) publishes daily vetted fact checks from verified IFCN-approved sources. Each claim is independently reviewed for accuracy and context.

Claimant: Social Media

Claim: A video and screenshot authentically show the overflow crowd at President Donald Trump’s Minnesota rally in September 2026.

Rating: MISLEADING

Explanation: The footage itself is authentic, but it was miscaptioned. It shows an overflow crowd at Trump’s July 27, 2024, rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, not a September 2026 event. The same footage was posted online by Trump campaign officials in 2024.
