Claimant: Joe Biden (D)

Claim: His administration created “2.2 million additional jobs” in his final year compared with “185,000 jobs” in the first year of Donald Trump’s second term.

Rating: MISLEADING

Explanation: Revised Bureau of Labor Statistics data show employment increased by about 1.2 million from January 2024 to January 2025, not 2.2 million as claimed.
