Left vs. Right Bias: How we rate the bias of media sources
I would suggest you stop conflating ‘republicans’ with ‘Trump.’ You say something about the publication ‘Republican Voters Against Trump’ in this post and then add, “despite its opposition to Donald Trump”. Being for or against Trump has little to nothing to do with how conservative one is. Neither Trump nor his ‘platform’ has any actual position on anything. He can be for something one day and against it the moment it no longer serves his ego.
Your points about Trump are valid, but it is important to point out that Trump is representing the Republican Party and most of the party supports him. In fact, Donald Trump claims that anyone who does not pledge 100% allegiance to him is a RINO. So while Trump may not be what was once considered a Republican, he does hold the title as their leader and “despite” that these Republicans are opposed to him. One could argue they are the real Republicans and Trump is the RINO from a traditional perspective.
