Shooting at St Louis, MO Area School

Officers were called to a St Louis area school shooting scene at 9:00 AM this morning.  The shooter killed two people at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts High School in south St Louis.  The Police, minutes after arriving, penetrated the shooting scene, and engaged the shooter killing him, says Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Michael Sack.

The shooter was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his wounds.  He was approximately 20 years old.  A motive for the shooting is not yet apparent.

In total, one adult woman was pronounced dead at an area hospital, and eight other people were injured in this incident.  One teenage girl was also shot and killed.
