The Trump Organization’s chief financial officer will be called to testify to Congress by the House Intelligence Committee.
The move comes after Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s longtime fixer, repeatedly cited Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg as having firsthand knowledge of alleged financial irregularities Cohen described in testimony before a House committee on Wednesday. Weisselberg has been granted limited immunity by New York prosecutors to provide information in their case involving hush money Cohen paid to women with whom Trump allegedly had affairs.
