The Trump Foundation, the charitable foundation started by President Donald Trump years before he became a presidential candidate, has agreed to dissolve under pressure from the New York attorney general’s office.
The foundation, accused of a “shocking pattern of illegality” by the attorney general, will give away its assets to other non-profit organizations in the next 30 days. The lawsuit brought by the attorney general against the foundation will move forward.
